Compact Design with Industrial Power
Although the R-SPS-S Series delivers up to 3000W of output power, its structure remains surprisingly compact.
- 450W–1200W models: approximately 2.5 kg
-
1500W–3000W models: approximately 5.8/7.5 kg
Compared with traditional 450W–1200W high-power DC power supplies, the R-SPS-S Series has a noticeably larger chassis to accommodate its much higher output capability while maintaining excellent portability and heat dissipation.
POWER Button – Manual Power On/Off
📷 Image Suggestion
The POWER button controls the main power of the unit.
Simply press the POWER button to:
- Turn the power supply ON
- Turn the power supply OFF
This provides complete manual control over the device before beginning any testing operation.
OUTPUT Button – Output Only When You're Ready
📷 Image Suggestion

Unlike many conventional power supplies, turning on the R-SPS-S Series does not immediately energize the output terminals.
After setting your desired voltage and current:
- Press the OUTPUT button.
- The output becomes active.
- Press it again to immediately disable the output.
This design greatly improves operational safety and prevents accidental voltage output while adjusting parameters.
OVP (Over Voltage Protection)
📷 Image Suggestion

The programmable OVP (Over Voltage Protection) feature protects your equipment from excessive voltage.
How to Configure OVP
- Press and hold the OVP button for 5 seconds.
- The voltage value begins flashing.
- Adjust your desired protection voltage.
- When the value stops flashing, the setting has been saved successfully.
During operation:
Simply press the OVP button once.
The OVP indicator lights green, indicating that over-voltage protection is enabled using your preset voltage limit.
This protects sensitive electronic devices from accidental over-voltage.
OCP (Over Current Protection)
📷 Image Suggestion
The programmable OCP (Over Current Protection) allows users to limit maximum output current.
How to Configure OCP
- Press and hold the OCP button for 5 seconds.
- The current value flashes.
- Adjust the desired current limit.
- When flashing stops, the setting is saved.
To activate OCP:
Simply press the OCP button.
The indicator turns green, meaning current protection is active using your preset current limit.
This greatly improves safety during battery charging and electronic testing.
LOCK Button – Prevent Accidental Operation
📷 Image Suggestion
During long testing sessions, accidental button presses may interrupt testing.
The LOCK function prevents this.
Simply press the LOCK button once.
Once activated:
- The display is locked.
- Other buttons become inactive.
- Voltage and current settings cannot be changed accidentally.
Ideal for production environments and continuous testing.
MEMORY Function – Four Preset Configurations
📷 Image Suggestion
Frequently changing voltage and current settings wastes valuable time.
The R-SPS-S Series includes 4 programmable memory groups.
Save Settings
- Set the desired voltage and current.
- Press and hold one MEMORY button for 3 seconds.
- The settings are stored.
Later, simply press the corresponding MEMORY button once to instantly recall your saved parameters.
This function is especially useful for:
- Repetitive testing
- Production lines
- Battery charging
- Electronic repair
- Laboratory work
More importantly, it minimizes the risk of outputting incorrect voltage or current during operation.
SCP (Short Circuit Protection)

No configuration is required.
The R-SPS-S Series features built-in Short Circuit Protection (SCP).
Whenever an accidental short circuit occurs, the protection activates automatically to protect both the power supply and the connected equipment.
This greatly reduces the risk of hardware damage caused by unexpected short circuits.
OTP (Over Temperature Protection)

The R-SPS-S Series uses an intelligent temperature-controlled cooling system.
When the internal temperature exceeds 50°C, the cooling fan automatically starts.
Benefits include:
- Lower operating temperature
- Extended component lifespan
- Stable long-term operation
- Improved reliability during high-power applications
