High Power DC-DC Converter Testing with
DC Bench Power Supply KUAIQU 0-60V
0-20A 1200W R-SPS6020S
The KUAIQU R-SPS6020S provides a 0-60V adjustable DC output, up to 20A current, and 1200W rated power for High Power DC-DC Converter Testing. As a high-power DC Bench Power Supply, it can be used to establish different DC input conditions for compatible converters during development, prototype evaluation, and laboratory testing.
DC-DC converter evaluation often involves changes in the input supply condition. Engineers may need to adjust the input voltage, provide sufficient current, and observe the electrical power supplied to the converter. The R-SPS6020S combines adjustable DC output with four-digit voltage, current, and power display, allowing these test conditions to be established and monitored within the rated capability of the power supply.
For test setups that return to several commonly used conditions, M1-M3 Memory Presets provide three groups of stored voltage and current settings. Precision Encoder adjustment, Output ON/OFF control, OCP, OVP, and Panel Lock further support controlled operation during repeated DC-DC converter testing.
Key Features
0-60V Adjustable DC Output for Converter Evaluation
The R-SPS6020S offers a continuously adjustable output range from 0 to 60V. This gives engineers the flexibility to apply different DC input voltage conditions when evaluating compatible DC-DC converters within the rated operating range.
20A Current Capacity for High Power Converter Tests
With a maximum output current of 20A, the R-SPS6020S can provide a higher-current DC input source for compatible converter test setups. The actual output should remain within the rated voltage, current, and power limits of the power supply and connected equipment.
1200W Output for Higher Power Test Setups
The 1200W rated power provides substantial output capacity for compatible high-power DC-DC converter applications. It allows the power supply to support test conditions requiring greater input power than lower-power bench supplies.
Direct Voltage, Current, and Power Readback
The four-digit display shows the operating voltage, current, and power. Engineers can therefore check the actual DC output condition while adjusting or maintaining the input supplied to the converter.
Encoder-Based Voltage and Current Adjustment
The Precision Encoder provides a practical way to set voltage and current values. It can be used to move between different converter input conditions during development and evaluation.
Three Memory Groups for Frequently Used Settings
M1, M2, and M3 provide three memory groups for storing commonly used voltage and current settings. When converter testing involves returning to the same input conditions, stored settings can be recalled instead of being configured manually each time.
OCP for Higher Current Test Conditions
The built-in Over Current Protection provides an additional protection function when the connected test setup draws excessive current. This is particularly relevant when working with higher-current converter input conditions.
OVP for Selected DC Input Voltage Conditions
Over Voltage Protection provides an additional protection function if an over-voltage condition occurs. It supports controlled operation when different DC input voltage settings are used during converter evaluation.
Output ON/OFF for Managing DC Input
The Output ON/OFF function allows the DC output to be enabled or disabled while keeping the configured settings. This provides a convenient way to control when the converter test setup receives DC input.
Panel Lock to Prevent Unintended Adjustment
After the required voltage and current conditions have been configured, the Panel Lock Button can help prevent accidental changes to the settings during testing.
Front and Rear Output Options
The R-SPS6020S provides both front and rear output connections. The front output is intended for applications below 5A, while the rear output supports the full rated output capability.
USB and Optional RS232/RS485 Interfaces
A standard USB interface is provided, with RS232/RS485 available as optional communication interfaces. These interfaces provide connection options for compatible external equipment and test environments.

Why Choose KUAIQU R-SPS6020S?
For High Power DC-DC Converter Testing, the DC source is an important part of the test setup because the converter needs to be evaluated under defined input conditions. The R-SPS6020S combines a 0-60V adjustable range, 20A maximum output, and 1200W rated power to provide the required DC input capacity for compatible high-power converter applications.
The adjustable voltage range allows different input levels to be established, while the 20A current capability provides additional capacity when a converter test requires higher input current. With 1200W of rated power, the R-SPS6020S is suited to compatible test setups where a greater DC power source is required.
During evaluation, the four-digit display makes the supplied voltage, current, and power directly visible. The Precision Encoder allows the settings to be adjusted as test conditions change. When testing involves several recurring input conditions, M1-M3 Memory Presets can be used to save and recall the corresponding voltage and current settings.
Protection and control functions provide additional support for the test setup. OCP and OVP provide protection functions for excessive current and over-voltage conditions, while Output ON/OFF allows the DC input to be controlled. Panel Lock can help keep the selected parameters unchanged once the desired converter test condition has been established.
With its 0-60V 0-20A 1200W DC Bench Power Supply capability, the R-SPS6020S provides an adjustable DC source for High Power DC-DC Converter Testing, converter input voltage evaluation, high-current converter testing, converter prototype evaluation, power conversion circuit testing, and repeated laboratory converter testing.
